Inspiring: “The boy who could do it….”

THE CHILD WHO COULD DO IT… Two children had been skating on a frozen lake all morning when, suddenly, the ice broke and one of them fell into the water.  The internal current displaced it a few meters below the frozen part, so to save it the only option was to break the layer that covered it. His friend began to shout for help, but when he saw that no one was coming he quickly looked for a stone and began to hit the ice with all his might. He hit, hit, and hit until he managed to open a crevice through which he put his arm to grab his partner and save him. A few minutes later, warned by the neighbors who had heard the cries for help, the firefighters arrived. When they were told what had happened, they kept wondering how that little boy had been able to break such a thick layer of ice. -It is impossible that with those hands he has achieved it, it is impossible, he does not have enough strength, how could he achieve it?  they commented among themselves. An old man who w...

Responsible Kid

Everyone treasures their childhood memory the most but I just want to forget every second of it. I didn’t had a dad, mom looked after me and my big brother but there was a thing with my brother, he was special, he was suffering from autism. I liked him but at times I didn’t like the fact that he got more attention from our mother.   No matter what I did mom never praised me, all she cared was about my brother and it was killing me inside. I felt like she didn’t even like me and want me. It was not like I could go anywhere, they were all I had. I was eight when I won my first black belt in taekwondo after training for 2 years. I was so excited to get home and show it to my mom.   When I got home, my mom was crying and my brother looked like he was beaten up. Then I remembered that I was supposed to look after my brother when mom was at work, but I stopped with friends to celebrate. When mom saw me, I excitedly showed her my black belt but she came up to me and...

Finding New Family

Happiness is when you are with someone you can share your feeling. I lost my most important person, my wife (Rosa), she died in a car accident. We were together from high school and we got married 3 years ago after being together for 9 years. We couldn’t have child so we had decided to adopt but before we could do that she left me forever.   After she was gone, I was died from inside, I couldn’t do anything properly, I lost my job, I didn’t talked to anyone and everyday was hell for me until one day when I found someone. It had been two months since my wife left me, every second of it was hard. It was quite evening, in the bridge where we had our first date. This bridge was special for us as we had so many good memories with that place, however it was first time after her died that I came here.   I had her favorite flowers in my hand, everytime I was there I would get her those flower. I knew that I was getting worse day by day but I had no one to share my feelings, I ...

Friend in need

What does friendship means, I learn it hard way. I am Salman, I was in middle school when I was mugged. I was a class topper, I had a lot of friends and I was even teacher’s favorite. But there was a boy, I was always curious about, he was polar opposite of me, he barley passed in exams, had no friends and usual would bully other. His name was Yush, despite being in same class we rarely felt each other’s presence.   Science week was coming soon, so we had to do a project with a partner. Everyone agreed to randomly pick partner from cheat, I got a cheat with Yush’s name. I was not going to work with him for my project, I talked with my teacher that I can’t be partner with him. When I was saying that to teacher, Yush got in room and heard me and he said he would do project alone so teacher also said okay if both of us wanted that.   Later on I told my friends about what happen with Yush, they told me that Yush might bully me for doing that, for a moment I was scared. Not...

My First Friend

Do you remember who your first friend was? Probably not, normally people make friends so early they don’t even remember them. So today I will share how I made my friend. I am Varun, age 16, I am not like other normal teenagers, see I am special, I can’t speak. Most of my life I have stayed in my house, my teacher has always came to my house due to which I had problem meeting people.   My family had already learned sign language to communicate with me but for other it is hard. Sometimes they forget that I can still hear and say something mean, most of the time I avoid them. Making friends was out of question, kinds my age can’t talk to me so they don’t even allow me to play with them. Then I started playing online games, where I met my first friend.   About a year ago when I was playing my online games as usual I found a person named ‘KillerBee32’, of course we meet in game but he was so good to me. Slowly we started to grow fonder of each other, we were spending hours ...

Sometime Wish Comes True

I might never forget that night in this life. It has been 5 years, still I remember it like it was yesterday. I didn’t wanted things to turn like this. I am Priya and this is my story which turned my life forever. It was monsoon evening 5 years ago, I was 25 at that time. I was in a relationship for almost 6 years at that time with my high school sweet heart ‘Dev’.   Everyone thought we were made for each other, they might have been true as we would complete each other. But it was not high school romance anymore, we were in real world and things were rather not same as before. We both finished our college and started working, we did make time to see each other but I felt like we were growing apart over time.   I felt like I was missing something in life, well it might because either I was at work or with Dev. I don’t know if Dev felt that way or not but even if he did he would not complain, that’s classic Dev, he is never got angry, he never complained about things. I ...

He was always there to help his friends in need due to which it was hard to dislike him. Because of his those traits he was elected class representative alone with one another girl (Verona).   Everything was going great, Jack was very happy being class representative (CR) as he could take part in extra activities in helping his teacher and college. His fellow CR and he himself became really good friends in class and while they were doing their CR jobs. Life is Too Short

This story is about a boy who falls in love with an elder girl. The boy's name is Aadesh, he is 16, fresh out of high school. He was quite a simple boy, from a medium-class family, living with his mom and dad. He was not so much an outgoing kind of a nerd but this spring he had other plans, he decided to go to the gym as he had three months till he started college. He started a gym across the city as he didn't want to be bothered while working out. But he had no idea what was waiting next. He started going to the gym on Monday, the first day of the workout made him quite tired. It was 8 in the morning when he left the gym as he started at 6 where he jogged all the way. But after the gym, he was tired and wanted to go on the bus as he was not in a condition to jog across the town. While waiting for the bus he saw a cafe right across the street. He wanted to grab a coffee and there was no sign of a bus afar, he decided to get a coffee real quick. He went to the cafe and...
